Varna University of Management, Varna, Bulgaria

Varna University of Management (VUM) is an international business school located in Europe, Bulgaria. Students from over 50 countries receive excellent education in Business and Marketing, IT, Tourism and Hospitality Management and Gastronomy and Culinary Arts.

VUM started in 1999 as a college of tourism and gradually evolved into an accredited university with wider emphasis on management. Today VUM offers Bachelor’s and Master’s double-degree programmes, taught entirely in English, in cooperation with universities in countries such as the UK, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Curricula are aligned with the partnering institutions and students have to meet up the same high standards in examinations. They graduate with degrees from both the partnering universities and VUM.

The strategic partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University, the UK, allows VUM students to graduate with a british degree in addition to their bulgarian degree without the need to relocate to the UK. However, various opportunities for student exchanges to Universities located all over the world are provided to VUM students.

VUM was the first higher education institution in Bulgaria to receive Accreditation by the British Accreditation Council.

For the last three years in a row VUM has been ranked by U-multirank first among the business schools worldwide in terms of student mobility and international orientation.

According to SSRN, in terms of research and number of publications VUM faculty and students have earned the University a well-deserved place among the top 300 business schools worldwide. VUM Research Institute issues internationally recognised science journals such as European Journal of Tourism Research (EJTR), VUM Management Review and Journal of Pedagogy and Educational Management. According to Scopus, EJTR is among the highest ranked European journals in the field of tourism research.

Last but not least, on national level and in line with the university ranking of the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria, VUM is ranked first in terms of quality of research and number of publications in the fields of tourism and business administration.

ESC Rennes School of Business, Rennes, France

ESC Rennes School of Business or École Supérieure de Commerce de Rennes is a French business school located in Rennes, the capital of Brittany, which was founded in 1990 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rennes. ESC Rennes belongs to the group of prestigious French Grandes Écoles, elite graduate schools. ESC Rennes is distinguished by its global outlook, international student body and international faculty. In addition to the French Grande École degree, ESC Rennes also awards British certified qualifications, which include: BAMAMScExecutive MBA and PhD. The school also offers the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree.

The school is accredited by The French Ministry of Education (French: Le Ministère de L’éducation Nationale), The European Foundation for Management Development (EQUIS)The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Association of MBAs (AMBA), and The Open University of the United Kingdom.

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU)          

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is an international university located in Vilnius and Kaunas, Lithuania. Modern, creative and entrepreneurial academic community has raised MRU to the leading university in social sciences and interdisciplinary research in Lithuania. MRU cooperates closely with over 300 universities, public and private institutions, takes part in academic, professional and inter-sectorial networks. MRU has a full membership of the following international higher education organizations: International Association of Universities, European University Association, European Association for International Education, European-Asian Knowledge Consortium Social Technologies for Smart and Inclusive Society, etc.

Social Innovations Doctoral School (SIDS) is the branch of Research and Innovation Support Centre of Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania) responsible for doctoral studies and postdoctoral research. SIDS offers PhD studies in six research fields (law, management, economics, psychology, education sciences and philology) and runs national and international doctoral programmes.

CEEMAN                                                    

CEEMAN is an international management development association established in 1993 with the aim of accelerating the growth in quality of management development in Central and Eastern Europe. Now it is a global network of management development institutions interested in quality of education and innovations in this field, as well as in the broad area of subjects related to change. CEEMAN has more than 210 institutional and individual members from over 50 countries in Europe, North America, Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

Baltic Management Development Association

Carrying out the idea to create a regional management development network, initiated by universities, business schools, individual professors and business professionals from the Baltic and other countries, the Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA) was founded at the end of 2002. From the very beginning, the Association started to induce the quality of management development in the Baltic region and beyond through promoting research, offering educational services and networking opportunities for management development institutions and business enterprises.

“Bridging East and West” became the main motto of BMDA. By establishing a virtual bridge between the East and West Management schools, especially taking into account the enriching nature of collaboration of different scientific cultures, BMDA provides a unique opportunity for its members to share the experience of transformation, rapid growth, and managing organizations for stabilization, that is the main feature of the New EU Member states including Baltic Countries economy and management challenges. The focus on Baltic region management development is also well kept.

BMDA currently unites 70 members from 23 countries, which include: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Republic of Kazakhstan, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden, the Netherlands, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA.

Russian Association of Business Education (RABE)

The Russian Association of Business Education (RABE) was established in 1990. Its objective is to create an effective system of business education in Russia that will provide home consumers with up-to-date means and resources for professional workforce training. RABE’s programs include: an annual conference; public certification and assessment of member institutions; training and study abroad programs for business people and professors; and the development of long-term training programs and refresher courses for business education teachers. It is composed of over 50 business schools and commercial centers. Membership in RABE is open to state and commercial enterprises.

The RABE headquarters and directorship are located in Moscow.
